Espaçonovo arquitetura is an architectural firm specializing in retail projects, from concept creation to final implementation. The choice for this niche is due to the experience of architect Jovita Torrano, director and founder of espaçonovo.

We work the different stages of the project in an integrated way, ensuring unity, planning, and easy execution of the works.
Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from Mackenzie University, she began her career working for large retail companies: Grupo Pão de Açúcar; Carrefour and Grupo Sendas. Participated in international projects: Proyecto Total for Rede Gigante in Mexico; Our Super in Angola and Low-income consumers for Unilever in Latin America. Taught classes in the One Year Retail Design and Visual Merchandising course at the Instituto Europeo di Design.She founded Espaçonovo in 2007, incorporating all the experience acquired in his 40 years working in retail.
Check out the award ceremony of the 51st International Design Awards 2022 by Retail Design Institute NY that took place in October 2022 in which espaçonovo arquitetura won in two different categories, with the projects for the St Marche Supermercado, Avenida Rebouças unit, and the Empório Santa Maria, Morumbi Shopping unit, which includes a Wine Bar and a Sushi Bar.
